Terraferma is a typical Uruguayan House, constructed with local materials and by native artisans to ensure its warm and welcoming environment.
The size of the house offers our guests the tranquility and intimacy needed to alternate moments of relaxation with the opportunity to socialise and meet other people, should it be their intention.
The two rooms that are available for our guests are located on different floors of the house. They are large and each has a private balcony or deck, which enables guests to have intimate contact with nature.
Common areas such as the kitchen and the living room, are the heart of the house - not only functional, but also allowing our guests to further enjoy their stay with us.
Both places are integrated and offer an ideal space to read, enjoy the view of the ocean from the living area, listen to soft background music, have a glass of wine by the fireplace, while tasting the local culinary specialties of the region.
Being travellers has allowed us to collect a treasure of objects from different parts of the world where we have journeyed. We have used them to decorate our home to complement the natural context.
